Preparation

Try to fast or eat a light meal for 3-4 hours before the ceremony. Avoid alcohol and caffeine to keep you feeling comfortable. On days when ceremonial cacao is consumed, all forms of caffeine should be avoided.

If you suffer from high blood pressure, heart disease, or are taking antidepressants, ceremonial use of cacao is not recommended. Please inform us in advance.
